A quote from Erin:
City of Ghosts was my first experience doing a narrative podcast and I was worried that it would feel really isolating to record, but we ended up recording most of it while on video conference with each other. It was really cool! Even though I was alone on a chair in my closet, it still felt like we were part of a team. We still got to connect and play together. Especially in the height of Covid, when I hadn’t had that feeling of creativity or connection for so long, it was really wonderful to find it here.
Synopsis:
CITY OF GHOSTS is a supernatural mystery that follows El Rivkin (Brigette Lundy-Paine), an information broker who makes a living collecting and selling the dirty secrets of New York’s elite, assisted by her business partner and only friend, the agoraphobic internet whiz Prizrak (Moises Arias). After they are hired to investigate a journalist’s murder, El begins to untangle a web that takes her from a burned-down apartment building to the highest levels of New York society – a world her sister Talia (Erin Darke) is marrying into, as she weds the old-moneyed James Chapman (James Scully).

City of Ghosts was all laid out during the pandemic. Most of the actors did their work in the comfort of their own home. So here’s Erin who did her voice work in her closet. I can tell you from listening to the first and second episode the audio quality is amazing. You will love this podcast. It was done really well. I can’t wait for you all to hear this coming on October 5th. Many thanks to Director Ryan Patch for sending over the material.
We have some exclusive content thanks to Director Ryan Patch. Here’s character art and description of Erin’s role as well as a quote from Director Ryan Patch. City of Ghosts Podcast comes out October 12, 2021 you can hear it here when it arrives.

ERIN DARKE stars as El’s older sister, Talia. As the series begins, Talia is engaged to be married to James Chapman and preparing to enter the world of New York’s social elite, in spite of lingering reservations about her place in it.
From Director Ryan Patch: “Erin is an incredible actress who brought a wonderful humanity to Talia’s character. She took a role that – in lesser hands – could have been reduced to a ‘nagging older sister’ and brought her compassion and warmth to it, as you understand that she really cares about El. Hearing her act alongside James Scully, who plays her fiancee, James, in the series, was also a treat, as she brought to life Talia’s struggle to marry the man she loves, but not lose her identity as she’s subsumed into his family.”
